Woodstock Meals was presented with the prestigious Alf Evers Award at the annual Woodstock Volunteers Appreciation Day, August 16, 2025. This award is given each year to an individual or organization that’s demonstrated an exemplary commitment to volunteer service in the Woodstock community over the years. We also received recognition from New York State Senator Michelle Hinchey’s office for our work helping homebound people in the community who are unable to drive, shop, or cook for themselves. Thank you to all our volunteer cooks, kitchen helpers, bakers, shoppers, drivers, and administrators who have given their time and energy to help our Woodstock neighbors age with dignity and maintain quality of life without fear of food insecurity.
