Handpicked, Local Berries for Our Clients!

For many of our clients, the handmade desserts we serve are their favorite part of the meal. Want to know how dedicated our volunteer bakers are? In June, when local strawberries are in season here in the Hudson Valley, our Wednesday baker, Susie, goes to a local U-Pick farm to gather fresh, ripe berries for our lucky Woodstock Meals clients. Here's her seasonal strawberry cupcake with strawberry buttercream frosting. It was so pretty (and delicious!) we thought it deserved its own blog post! Thank you, Susie, for the love and effort you put into sweetening the day for our homebound neighbors.
