Neither Rain nor Snow nor Bears...

Woodstock Meals has always been committed to serving our clients holiday meals. This year was a doozy. Two days before Thanksgiving, our head chef and co-director, Nancy, discovered that a black bear had broken into her garage and stolen three turkeys that were thawing in her outdoor fridge.
No problem! Nancy and our intrepid crew did some last-minute shopping and served up a gorgeous Thanksgiving meal of turkey breast, gravy, mushroom stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, shrimp cocktail, and apple pie.
Then came Christmas: What could possibly go wrong? One of our two ranges conked out. Did that stop Nancy and the Christmas team from making 50 meals? Nope! Somehow they managed to produce beef tenderloin, poached salmon, scalloped potatoes, vegetables and chocolate chip cake. A masterpiece worthy of a Michelin star restaurant, in our humble opinion. Here's a shoutout to our team of amazing, resilient, dedicated kitchen volunteers--and to all the drivers who gave up part of their holiday to deliver these delicious holiday feasts to our homebound neighbors.
