We've Changed Our Name!

Formerly Woodstock Area Meals on Wheels, we’re now Woodstock Meals. Same organization, new name.

Our founders a half century ago opted not to be part of the national organization so we could maintain independence. Now that we’ve crossed our 50-year birthday, keeping “Meals on Wheels” in the name no longer serves us. Our local organization has a Woodstock character all its own. We’re proud of our distinction and differences.

Fact: We do not get government funding through the national MOW program.

Fact: Our meals are made fresh every day, not frozen.

Fact: We don’t disqualify people on the basis of age or income.

Fact: We don’t have a long waiting list, nor do we require a formal qualifying interview.

Fact: To qualify for meals, a client has to live in our delivery area, and be homebound.

Donations can be made out to either Woodstock Area Meals on Wheels or to Woodstock Meals.
